Focusing on the key landmarks of Lantau, this is an ideal escapade from the hustle and bustle of the city.Take a 25-minute ride on the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to enjoy some of the best views of Lantau, a visually spectacular ride of ever-changing vistas of the landscapes. You will then visit one of the world's largest outdoor bronze Buddha statues at the tranquil Po Lin Monastery.One of the highlights of the island is the historical Tai O Fishing Village, with houses on stilts, and tiny shops and shrines dotted throughout – this humble village is still popular for its dried seafood and traditional way of life.

Good to Know

  • Know in advance:
  • Temporary Update (valid 20 - 22/01/2026): The Ngong Ping cable car service will be closed for scheduled maintenance, taxi / coach transfer instead of the cable car will be arranged accordingly
  • You will discover Tai O Fishing Village, a historical fishing village popular for its dried seafood and traditional way of life
  • Roundtrip transfer by coach from your accommodation to the Sheraton Hotel will be arranged for groups of 4 pax or more, while public transportation will be used for groups of 2-3 pax. The tour will end at Tung Chung MTR Station for those using public transportation
  • The tour gives you the chance to visit one of the world's largest outdoor bronze Buddha statues at Po Lin Monastery
  • In case the cable car service is suspended due to adverse weather, scheduled maintenance or other safety reasons, taxi/coach transfer will be arranged accordingly
  • You will appreciate great views of the island from the Ngong Ping cable car
  • This activity requires a minimum of 2 participants to take place. If the minimum is not met, the tour will be cancelled, or you can book an alternative date
  • Final confirmation with pick-up time will be sent to you by email
