Verona full immersion wine tour

With this wine day tour experience you are picked up at 10 am at your hotel and the first stop is the Valetti Winery. (or similar) The Grandfather of the current family owners, Mr Angelo, leased the money to buy his little piece of land in Bardolino from his brother, who emigrated in America in early 1900. There he settled down and planted his little vineyard to sustain the family. His son Luigi built the winery that today is run by Stefano, Luca and Davide. After all this time, this remains a family-run winery that work hard to obtain the best from the grapes of Bardolino, combining tradition and technology. The new winery is a preciuous architectural object. A chest of stone, steel and glass with a powerful core of concrete. The crooked iron pillars, that recall a row of vines, rise up in the sky to sustain the roof and involve the big glass wall throughout one can see inside and enjoy the external panorama. A big terrace invisible from the ground, welcome you offering a wonderful 360 degrees view on the Lake Garda and his drumlin hills. After the wine tour and tasting of great red wines before going to Peschiera del Garda for time and lunch on own. During your way back to Verona, you stop at Poggio delle Grazie (or similar) The winery was founded in 2014 on the joint dream of two brothers, Stefano and Massimo who were already producing grapes, but giving them to other manufacturers. The love for the land, the desire to improve their product, the willingness to invest in something innovative prompted them, after years of research , personnel training, and the meeting with the young winemaker Damiano, to do the plunge. The harmony of thought with Damiano, the common desire to experiment and the will to diversify the market supply has led them in a few months to realize their dream. You will have a guided tour and a tasting of different wines (Garganega, Custoza, Bardolino, Pinot Grigio and more) which are the perfect expression of this land! After the guided tour and tasting, we get closer to Verona, stopping by at Giovanni Ederle winery, only 5 minutes drive from downtown Verona..This is the perfect way to end your day with a visit to this different cellar with a different history and with a glass of wine at dusk with the view of the romantic Verona..perfect way to end your wine day!
