It was a very wet October afternoon. The train was about ten minutes late which is not usually too bad. Unfortunately Platform 0 is open to the elements and although there are two bus shelters on the platform only a fraction of the crowded travellers were able to find shelter. Surely there has been enough time over the past 15 years or so to have given commuters of Platform 0 the same level of convenience found on every other platform at the station.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The first class lounge at platform 1 is a small but clean place. Can enjoy some coffee here.

This was a fantastic station to use for both inbound and outbound journeys, with large platforms appropriately for all the different trains! Information being provided in both English and Welsh is inclusive and helps all passengers, including departure times and navigation signs. The platform signs have a nice appearance, a subway leads out easily and the concourse is marvellous! Vintage signs add to the station, the staff were friendly and cleanliness had been maintained.
