Pet-Friendly Guidelines

Pet Policy

pet_policy policy
I'm sorry, but I'm not able to find specifics on Polonus's pet policy. However, I can provide a general guideline on pet policies, based on typical rules followed by many bus companies in Poland.

General Polish Bus Pet Policy

  • Small pets, usually under 10 kg, are generally allowed to travel with you on the bus. They must be in an appropriate, secure, and comfortable pet carrier.
  • The carrier must be clean and not disturb other passengers or cause any damage to the bus.
  • Any waste or damage caused by the pet will likely be charged to the owner.
  • Large pets are generally not allowed on buses due to space limitations and potential disruptions to passengers.
  • The final decision to allow a pet onboard is often at the discretion of the driver or the bus company. Therefore, it is advisable to check in advance.
  • Service animals, such as guide dogs for the visually impaired, are usually permitted onboard buses and not subject to the same restrictions as pets. However, it is still recommended to check in advance.

Pets Typically Allowed on Polish Buses:

  • Small dogs
  • Cats
  • Rabbits
  • Birds, as long as they are in a suitable cage

Pets Typically Not Allowed on Polish Buses:

  • Large dogs (exceptions may be made for service animals)
  • Reptiles and exotic animals
  • Any pet not in a secure carrier
