Flexible Cancellations
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the bus.
If a cancellation is requested less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, a full refund will not be issued.
If a cancellation is requested more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, customers will be refunded the full ticket price.
Cancellations must be made online or via phone to the customer service department.
If a customer misses their scheduled bus without notifying Makalala Transport, they will not be refunded.
If a customer has to change their destination due to unforeseen circumstances, they must contact Makalala Transport customer service and they will be refunded the difference in ticket price.
In the event of a cancellation due to bad weather, a full refund will be issued.
In the event of a cancellation due to a mechanical failure, a full refund will be issued.
Smooth Luggage
Luggage Policy
Makalala Transport allows passengers to bring one small personal item (such as a purse or laptop bag), plus one standard-sized bag per passenger.
Each item of luggage must not exceed the dimensions of 56 x 45 x 25 cm and must not weigh more than 30 kg.
Additional items of luggage and items exceeding the above dimensions and weight restrictions can be carried in the luggage hold, subject to a fee.
Passengers are not permitted to bring any hazardous items, such as weapons or flammable substances, on board the bus.
All luggage must be labeled with a permanent address label, identifying the passenger and their contact information.
Luggage taxes may apply, depending on the route, the number of items and the total weight.
Pet-Friendly Guidelines
Pet Policy
Makalala Transport does not have a specific pet policy.
Passengers are allowed to bring small pets such as cats, dogs, and birds on board, as long as they are in a secure and appropriately sized pet carrier.
Pets must remain in their carriers at all times while on board the bus.
Passengers must clean up after their pets and any pet messes that occur on the bus.
Pets must not cause any disruption or disturbance to other passengers.
Large animals, such as horses, are not allowed on board the bus.
Reptiles, rodents, and other exotic pets are not allowed on board the bus.
